Sobha Seinna location is Egattur on Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR), Chennai — between Navalur and Kelambakkam, roughly two kilometres from the SIPCOT / Siruseri IT Park.
Sobha Seinna is located at Egattur on OMR, Chennai, a residential pocket on Old Mahabalipuram Road in the south of the city. The Sobha Seinna address places the project inside the OMR IT corridor rather than on its periphery, which is the single most useful thing to understand about this location.
Egattur is bounded by Navalur about three kilometres to the north and Kelambakkam about four kilometres to the south. Sholinganallur Junction, the main interchange on this stretch, is roughly eight kilometres away and takes about fifteen minutes by road in normal conditions. The East Coast Road lies around seven kilometres east, giving the neighbourhood a second route towards the city and the coast.
For households working in technology, the distances are short in a way that is unusual for a metropolitan address: SIPCOT / Siruseri IT Park is about two kilometres away, the TCS Siruseri campus about three, Pacifica Tech Park about 3.5 and ETA Technopark about four. A commute of that length changes what a working day looks like.
Social infrastructure along this part of OMR is already established rather than promised. Schools, universities, hospitals, malls and a multiplex all fall within a twelve-kilometre radius, which means the locality functions today and does not depend on future projects to become liveable.

Old Mahabalipuram Road, widely called OMR or the IT Expressway, runs south from Madhya Kailash towards Siruseri and Kelambakkam. It is the spine of Chennai's technology economy, carrying a dense concentration of IT campuses, business parks and SEZ developments along its length.
Residential development on OMR followed the offices rather than preceding them, which is why localities along the corridor tend to have functioning social infrastructure rather than speculative layouts. Sholinganallur, Navalur, Egattur, Siruseri and Kelambakkam have each built up their own retail, schooling and healthcare provision over the past two decades.
Egattur occupies the stretch of OMR between Navalur and Kelambakkam. Its defining characteristic is proximity to work: the SIPCOT and Siruseri campuses are close enough that the commute is a short drive rather than a cross-city journey.
The locality is served by Hiranandani Upscale School about two kilometres away, with SSN College of Engineering, Hindustan University and Sathyabama University within twelve kilometres. Healthcare is covered by Supreme Speciality Hospitals and Chettinad Health City at roughly four and five kilometres. Retail runs from Marina Mall and Vivira Mall within four kilometres to Mayajaal Multiplex at about eight.
Road access works in two directions. OMR runs north towards Sholinganallur and the city centre, while the East Coast Road about seven kilometres east provides an alternative when the corridor is congested. Chennai International Airport is approximately twenty-five kilometres away, around forty-five minutes depending on traffic conditions.
Chennai Metro Phase 2 includes a proposed Madhavaram–SIPCOT corridor planned to run along OMR.
This line is not currently operational. It should be treated as planned future connectivity only. We do not publish station names, alignment details, distances to a future station or commissioning dates, because none of that has been confirmed for this location.
